He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Colossians 1:17 (NIV)
The LORD will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O LORD, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. Psalm 138:8 (NASB)
Chances are, you’re like me. You have a bunch of things going on right now. You’re reading this and staving off swirling thoughts on a number of fronts … some sequential, some with little point of intersection … some that are minutiae, some that are crucial … many of them attached to rising anxiety.
They all need attention – your attention, for sure. But they already have God’s attention.
Let prayer become a blessed, sweet, critical compilation of things for you today. Let it take the shape of something bigger as you release each concern … for yourself, for others. Jesus will build and hold together all that you release to Him.
He molds because He’s a Molder, a Perfector. He molds and remolds those who know they are incomplete, fractured, in need of glue or a sizable repair, who want a more complete molding into His image.
He perfects that which concerns us. So, connect. Compile. Confess. Cry out. A moldable person welcomes change, a change that sticks, that’s super-glued, that holds together … for life!
Maybe this little prayer (below) can help grease your wheels and get you going and moving through all that you have compiled or that has been pressed upon you.

This prayer is by a dear friend, a current Ohio State University student who is active in Cru on campus and has served on AIA projects the last two summers. I pray it helps you as it has me.
Lord of the Harvest, we ask for 10 million Christ-centered, multiplying disciples and 5 million new church plants by the end of 2020. LORD, MOLD our hearts to be one with Your heart. MULTIPLY our lives through others. MOBILIZE laborers through our prayers and ministry efforts.
