Read and Reflect: John 15:1-17

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.  I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing (vv. 4-5).

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be My disciples.  As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Abide in My love (vv. 7-9, English Standard Version).

Draw near

Lord God, I come before You and ask that You draw me near to You. I am at home when I am with You; You alone are my true dwelling. May my heart and mind continue to rest in Your presence and experience the abundance of Your grace and love.

When I’m losing my way or turning to the things of this world, graciously remind me to seek Your face and to remain in You. Father, out of Your amazing love for me, would You continue to woo me to Yourself. Mould my heart and my desires as You see fit. Would You help me to remain in You so that my life is fruitful and brings You honour and glory.

Pray for South Asia and Southeast Asia

Pray for area leadership to take steps of faith in the power of the Holy Spirit, abide in Christ alone, and see the fruitfulness that God desires in their areas of responsibility.
