Read and reflect: 1 Corinthians 1:18-31

But we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men (vv. 23-25, ESV).

Draw near

Jesus, thank You for allowing me to personally experience the power of the cross when I started following You. I’m forever grateful that You opened my eyes to that which the world reckons as foolishness. Help me to faithfully proclaim Your name and share You with others, so that my life is multiplied for Your glory. As I experience a deeper understanding of Your grace in my life, let my life be a conduit of Your grace and love to those around me.
