Read and Reflect: Hebrews 4:14-16
Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (vv. 14-16, ESV).
Lord Jesus, it is with a humble heart that I approach Your throne of grace, as my need for Your grace and mercy is constant. Thank You that You truly do know the struggles and challenges of this world; You have compassion on me, as You, too, have walked this earth. As I experience a greater portion of You, let my heart be shaped and moulded to look more and more like You. May I find greater portions of mercy and grace to extend to others in time of need.
